The Town Council is in contact with emergency planners at the county and district councils and monitoring the most up-to-date information and advice coming from the Government. This is a fast-developing situation and we will do our best to provide as near normal service as possible but this could change at short notice. We will be holding meetings twice a week to give and receive updates on the latest situation and any changes to advice and information will be shared via our website and Facebook page.

In the meantime, the town council office is open and we will support the local community, where we have the resources to do so. While we do not have the capacity to co-ordinate a community-wide response for offers of help, we are able to pass on information. So, if there are community groups and organisations that can offer services to vulnerable and elderly residents, please contact the Town Council 01453 822070 or email

Finally, we already know what a great community we have here in Stonehouse but it now more important than ever to look out for our neighbours and vulnerable family and friends.
