Stonehouse Town Council is looking for someone who will take great pride in making our town look its best for residents, businesses and visitors.
Working with the Groundsperson, you will plan and carry out general maintenance on council properties and recreation grounds all year round and in all weathers. Apart from the requisite practical skills and experience, we want someone who pays attention to detail and strives for excellence. You will be supported by a small but dynamic team of officers and town councillors.
We need someone who possesses a high standard of general maintenance skills and is a hardworking, flexible and reliable team member. This will be a public facing role so good communication skills are essential.
Previous experience in a similar role is required and ongoing relevant training and support will be given.
37 hrs/week, salary (£22,627 – £24,490 pa). Actual salary will be based on previous skills and experience.
